About Me
I was born and raised in Florida and received my Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Florida, go Gators! I moved to Chicago and completed my Master's in Special Education at Dominican University. I have had a variety of experiences working with students, both inside and outside of the classroom, which have made me grow as a person and an educator.
In my free time, I enjoy playing with my dog, Tater Tot. We take advantage of Chicago's beautiful summer days by going to beaches, parks, and various trails in the Forest Preserve areas. I am also an avid golfer and play as often as possible.

It is essential that I am familiar with current tools, so I am able to guide and support my students in using them.
- I believe that technology plays an integral part in succeeded in our changing world's career fields. The expansion of digital literacy skills will open doors to my students' futures. It is my duty to support the development of these skills.
- I believe that a 21st century classroom is student-centered. Learning is engaging, hands-on, and relevant to life and the future. Learning should be personalized.
- I believe it is my role as a educator to not simply teach content, but teach students how to learn. I must support inquiry, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, analyzing, collaboration, and autonomy so my students can continue to learn when they leave my classroom.
